Ran sleds 1  1/4 mile out of marina yesterday afternoon. Not much snow.  Ice mostly clear, a few white ice areas. Hit one slush spot on way out. Measured 5″ of ice just inside of a broken ice refreeze area. All agreed we didn’t want to go any farther. We were well inside of the ice piles visible from shore. Need more COLD weather to firm things up.

A blanket of new snow hides the ice this morning. Looks like some water on the ice near pressure cracks in the marina.
