CUSTOMERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING THEIR OWN WRAP.***
LBMC WILL NOT MONITOR THE HIGH VOLUME OF BOATS ON PREMISES FOR COMPROMISED WRAP.
IT IS ENCOURAGED THAT CUSTOMERS ARE PROACTIVE WITH CHECKING MOISTURE LEVELS PRIOR TO WRAPPING, AS LIMITED SHOP SPACE WILL NOT HAVE HEATED ACCOMMODATIONS TO AIR DRY MULTIPLE BOATS SIMULTANEOUSLY PRIOR TO WRAPPING.
EXTRAS LIKE CHAFFING TAPE, MOTOR POD WRAP, ETC MUST BE CONVEYED TO SERVICE WRITER PRIOR TO WRAPPING.
(Rates vary depending on dimensions. Pricing matrix defined by linear length of plastic used, NOT boat model length) *We do not start shrink wrapping until October* Customer understands they are responsible for maintaining and monitoring the integrity of wrap over season. Customer understands LBMC is not responsible for drying out boat prior to wrap and will wrap as is. Customer will advise the Service Writer if requesting additional moisture bags, chaffing tape, motor pod wrap, etc.
Options include accommodations for boats with bridges/arches and door install.
We are proud to participate with the Michigan Recycling Coalition, partnering with the Michigan Boating Industries Association. The Michigan Clean Marina Program promotes environmentally sound marina and boating practices to reduce pollution, enhance fish and wildlife habitats and protect Great Lakes water quality. We pledge to maintain and improve Michigan’s waterways by reducing or eliminating releases of harmful substances and phasing out practices that can damage aquatic environments.
As such, there is a nominal recycling fee to accommodate all shrink wrap orders.
WHY RECYCLE BOAT COVERS?
• For every bag recycled, there is a savings of 115 Kwh of energy, 13.5 gallons of oil, and 16-20 cubic ft. of landfill space.
• Keeps the Great Lakes clean and waste-free.
• Recycling marine film fuels the circular economy of Michigan. Recycled plastics from this program are used by the manufacturer, TREX decking, giving your used plastic a new life as composite decking.
Engine Winterizing
Outboards, Sterndrives and Kickers.
Winterization includes main engine flush, fuel stabil, gear lube inspection/change and a preliminary inspection of engine manifold, belts/hoses, skeg/prop, and engine oil consistency check.
It does NOT include, engine hour scan, power wash, actual oil change, spring summerization or launch, battery disconnect/removal/storage, winter work requests...etc)
